"Harry Samuel Scaling, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Monday in Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Harry was born Nov. 13, 1935, the youngest of three sons of the late Charles William and Martha Mae Arnold Scaling.
Harry was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, the Steeplechase Club, the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and River Crest Country Club. A Texas Tech graduate, he lettered in basketball and was a member of the Red Raider Club of Texas Tech. He enjoyed his membership in the Tips Thursday Breakfast Club.
Survivors: Nephews, Charles William Scaling III and wife, Beverly, and their children, Matt and Drew, and Thomas McMurray Scaling and wife, Leisha, and their children, Sarah, Joseph and Samuel; nieces, Bettie Scaling Bosworth and husband, Father Bob Bosworth Jr., and their son, Robert William Bosworth III, Martha Marie Scaling Creasy and Mary Gladys Scaling Hubbard and husband, John, and their children, William, John, Charles and Elizabeth Anne; sister-in-law, Diane Pegg and husband, James R.
