Tools For Sale (Current as of March 2002)
Not from Texas tools. All I ever find here is junk (Well, almost). These are guaranteed to be "not from Texas" tools, found elsewhere, desirable and high quality in good condition! Terms- you ask for what you want, I estimate shipping and hold in reserve till payment arrives, then I send. Cheapest shipping unless you ask for more. AB) Left Handed Broad Hatchet. Very hard to find a Broad Hatchet set up for a leftie; these are handed tools. This one has an extra comfy handle. Some use, no abuse, needs just a quick sharpening. $18
Supplies
Vixen files, or milled curved tooth files- According to a well known plane maker
these are good for floats and bedding plane irons.
Also good as agressive wood rasps, and killer for metal files. All uses- quick stock removal, nice finish. Curiously hard to find
A) Nicholson 12", 10 tpi. Usually around $30, but here only $15- I've got 1. NOS
B) Simonds 8" (14tpi?) Usually around $25, here only $12- I've got 3 or so. Red tanged, not marked Simonds, though the box is!
C) Norzon sanding belts. 3X21, 100 grit. If you haven't used this, you are missing out. Zirconia, AKA quicklap, is 4 times more aggressive, and lasts 4 times longer than AlOx. $1.50 each, I've got 6 or so.
F) F) Kennedy Tool Box liners Rolls of foam, I've got several, around 16" or 18" by several feet. Ask for more info $5 each.

G) Cabinetmakers of America by Ethyl Bjerkoe. Uncommon. VG.
Research furniture or see if any of your tools had famous owners. $16.
K) 1890 Montgomery and Co. Tools Catalog. Very hard to find original 19th century catalogs. Good. $22
M) Windsor Beader. Very Good, missing 1 brass endcap, very light pitting on cutter(Easily removed). $90.
O) Brown and Sharpe 6" Hook Rules. NOS. Had the box, I may have 1 left. $15
All in blue plastic sleeves and perfect, 4R grads and end graduations.
P) Stanley 78 Rabbet Plane in Box. Box very lame, plane extra crisp w/partial decal- a real beauty.
But depth stop and rod from another plane, though also in
first rate shape. $65 (Catalog not included, extra parts not shown)
Q) Millers Falls Block Plane in Box, #16. Plane fine and crisp, box has since gotten a corner blowout, but otherwise good. $35.
R) Irish Chariot style plane. Not the quality of a Preston, but a good price. Don't know who made it. $20
S) Chaplins Patent plane for parts- throat is blown out, cap good, front knob good,
adjustment mechanism good, I think blade good too, ask and I'll check. Withdrawn.
V) Stanley Level #36G 12". Fine, near mint. $27.
W) Sorby 2" Framing Chisel- absolutely massive, 10" usable length.
Runs $85 new. Back is clean and pit free, though front has a
few scattered
tiny pits. Hard to find these in good shape due to their use on green wood. $25
X) Stanley 1.5" Everlast Chisel. 3" of usable blade, very nice shape. Wider ones harder to find.Nicer than pic $32
Y) Ebony and Brass Ultimatum Gauge. Very Nice, great points. Tiny hairline in head-see pic. $80.
AA) Brown and Sharpe 6" square 540. Looks like a bit of engine turning or something
similar on stock- kinda neat. Crisp blade, Owner made box, light owners mark. Accurate-
leaves NO light when compared to my other 6" 540 BS Square. $25.
