TOYMAKERS
ECW began rising in popularity due to a national television program and with more fans they needed memorabilia. In the fall of 1999 Toymakers began production on the first ever ECW action figures. Less than a year after WCW left TOYMAKERS to start a new deal with TOY BIZ. Toymakers had a bad reputation for its early WCW figures when it came to articulation and sculpting, but the new ECW figures they produced were remarkable. They had great articulation, packaging was flashy and the sculpting was great. Toy stores could barely keep them on the shelves.
