Hi,
My Name Is Brenda Terry and I have been
researching my family tree for nine years. I
am a Software Engineer by Profession, but a True
Genealogist at heart. I have published two
books, Slaves I/Claiborne County Mississippi and
Slaves II/A Deeper Look into the WPA Slaves
Narratives.
There was very little published information
relating to African American Genealogy when I first
started researching. This of course, was a
frustrating experience and as a result, I
committed to making available as many resources
available to researchers like myself.
This site is another step toward fulfilling
that commitment.
