Fisherman’s Prayer

I pray that I may live to fish. . .
Until my dying day
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord’s great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.

....and so she was.

Forever Loved and Longingly Remembered

Sweetest memories of our Whendy. She so loved the lake and fishing. It is comforting to believe that somewhere in the great beyond,
that she is fishing in a beautiful, well-stocked lake sounding out that funny little giggle of her's when she was tickled about something.

It's difficult to believe that it has been sixteen long years since she was taken from us and
more difficult still to imagine that on this 17th day of February, 2006, she would be 51 years old.
