I'm Aunt Snoopy! I bet everyone's wondering how I got the name Aunt Snoopy...well let me tell you a little story...
While growing up, my father introduced me to Snoopy & the
rest of the Peanuts Gang at a young age. I can remember countless
Halloween's watching Linus miss out on Halloween night while waiting in the
pumpkin
patch for The Great Pumpkin and what would Christmas be without a
Charlie Brown Christmas?? As I got older, I realized that there were more
wonderful Peanuts movies out there! Just about every holiday has a Peanuts
movie to go along with it! Several years back, when Anthony
was just a few years old, I bought him Snoopy Come Home. I can remember
sitting with Anthony watching the movie and laughing so hard at all of Snoopy's
silly little antics!
So anyway, my love for Snoopy brought on the nickname "Snoopy" while in school. In 1993, the year that my best friend Lori got pregnant with Anthony, we all joked about me becoming "AUNT Snoopy". The name sort of "stuck" when Anthony was born...and then Wesley...and Morgan...and on down the line!
