As the Front End GUI Developer for the Electronic Toll Collection project, I designed and developed the entire user interface application. It consists of over 75 screens and 30 reports. I used Oracle Developer 6i to develop the user interface. This interface is made available over the company's intranet using Static implementation of Oracle Forms and Reports Server using Apache Web server.
I was the Database Administrator for the Scottish Project. We automated the payment for the food purchased at the drive-thru windows at some of the fast food restaurants using the Tags that are used in the Toll System industry. I created scripts to automate the loading, extractions and file transfers between the stores and the tag agencies. Daily Invoice reports will be automatically generated and emailed to the agencies.
Previously I was with Kumaran Systems Inc, Canada, for over three years, which is one of the major companies, which handled conversion of Oracle Forms and Reports from its lower version to any of the higher version. Conversions from any other applications to Oracle has also been performed here.
I have involved in many oracle to oracle conversion projects. The highlighting project I did in Kumaran Systems Inc, was with Intertek Testing Services, which involved conversion of "Accell/Unify" application to Oracle/Developer 2000/Unix, in which I handled Database Tuning, and Conversion and Development of some modules which involved more than 200 Forms and 100 Reports.
I have also developed the Automated Version Release System, which browses throughout the system and captures the files that are to be included for the current release, generates a new version number, compiles all the files and generates one compressed release file, FTPs to the client site and generates and send e-mails to the associated reciepients. This system also maintains a backup of all the releases.
