...2 WEEKS LATER, 1 WEEK BEFORE THE TOUR...
“Brian we need to talk. Can we go somewhere?” I asked “Sure, how about your room?” “Okay.” AJ and Brian had thrown me a party (so they wouldn’t have to clean it up) to celebrate my record deal. I thought now was the best time to tell him. I lead him to my room and we sat on the bed. “Look, I’ve been meaning to tell you something for a while now” I started. He was holding my hand because he sensed it was important. He always seemed to know these things with me. His eyes were looking deep into mine. I felt like I was about to melt. “We’ve been friends our entire lives. I never thought this would happen but it has. I can’t control it. Brian..”
I was cut off by Brian’s lips touching mine in a sweet passionate kiss. I returned it without thought. He looked into my eyes “I love you too, Maddy.” He said. I never even told him, he knew. “How did you know?” “Because I feel the same way and we share a brain remember.” He said as we laughed. Then we took another shot, his kiss was so passionate yet forceful. It was the first time we ever really kissed. It was so soft. I thought it would last forever, but of course, AJ to the rescue.
“Hey Brian, man we-oh man sorry to interrupt but we gotta go, we have a early wake up call in the morning.” AJ said as he barged into the room. “All right, I’ll be right out.” He said as he turned back to me. “I gotta go. I’ll call you in the morning okay.” “Okay” I replied and walked him and AJ to Brian’s BMW. He gave me one last kiss as he got into the car. “I love you Madison.” It was the first time he called me Madison in a really long time. “I love you too Bri.” I replied as he turned the engine on and drove off.
Two hours later I got a phone call....
