Hours later, AJ and Wendi pulled up to his house, tired but happy. The plan was to walk in, go straight upstairs, and go right to sleep. A lot had happened within the past few hours...
He quietly unlocked the front door, Wendi creeped inside, and stopped. AJ waked in and ran into her. "What is it?" he asked quietly. Wendi stifled a giggle and pointed to 2 figures laying togther on the couch, getting quite friendly. "Should we scare them?" AJ asked with a sly grin. Wendi nodded. They crept around slowly to the back side of the couch, just when the other couples breathing began to speed up, AJ stood up, turned on the light and said quite loudly, "Dont enjoy yourself TOO much, now Brian. You DID just have a break up recently."
The couple jumped and Brian fell off the couch. Jessie rapidly fixed her rumbled clothes and hair. Wendi and AJ laughed and laughed. Eventually, Brian joined in and last, came Jessie's giggle. Aj walked back around and sat on the couch. Wendi followed and climbed on his lap. Still blinking into the light, Brian asked "Where have ya'll been?" Aj looked at Wendi and smiled with a warm glow in his eyes. "Out." he replied. "Speaking of which, I am very tired and plan to go to bed." "Me too. I'm going home now. Good night guys." Wendi said as she leaned over and gave AJ a passionate good-bye kiss that she hoped told him everything she wanted to say. He stood up to walk her to the door with Brian and Jessie following behind. They hugged and he whispered "I love you" in her ear as she walked out the door.
Later that night, actually, around 3 in the morning, the girls lay in Wendi's room staring at the ceiling. "I'm sorry I made you cry, Wendi." Jessie announced into the darkness. "Its ok, Jess. I know you didnt mean any harm. It all turned out alright anyways." Wendi said hugging her pillow close. "Where DID ya'll go anyways?" Jessie asked. Hearing a small giggle in the darkness she sat up and asked again, "Where DID ya'll go?" This time a muffled laugh filled the room. "Wendi! Where were ya'll??" Loud, giddy laughter filled the room as Wendi sat up in bed an announced, "You will NEVER believe what I did! "
Jessie jumped up on the bed beside her and said "Ok, tell me. I'm all ears."
