Ryley was in surgery for about 5 hours. He did remarkably well. This is the very first time that we got to see him after surgery. (LOOK, DOESN'T HE HAVE THE PRETTIEST PINK LIPS) I thank God everyday that he has allowed us to spend more time enjoying this beautiful baby.
The very sight of this is enough to break anyone's heart. I know myself and every parent who has a child with a congenital heart defect thinks a baby should never have to go through this. With the appropriate funding and research, there is hope that the true cause of this may be found.

Hour by hour Ryley made great progress. We are so PROUD of our little fighter.
Aunt Jerrie is visiting with Ryley…… Ryley says, "This Sucks People!!! I have definitely had better days than this!!!"
