Delta Rho's Participation  in the Community

     Since the sorority's early existence, sorors of AKA challenge and face many problems and complexities of the world.  Through the direction and focus of our national office, we strive to meet the goals and expectations of the organization.  This endurance is what makes us "supreme in service to all mankind".

    Delta Rho has been successful in its efforts to provide services and programs that make a difference in the community and surrounding areas.  Delta Rho has been a strong link in the chain of human caring, as evident in its programs for minorities, youth, the disadvantaged, homeless, senior citizens, and many others.

Some past activities include, but are not limited to:

• Adopted Kindergarten class at Dorie Miller & W. W. White Elementary Schools

• Annual Clothes Drive
• Career Choice Seminar
• Wellness Workshop for Children
• Financial Support to UNCF, HBCU, NAACP, & the Million Woman March
• Martin Luther King, Jr. March
• Work and Support Senior Citizens at Roseville
• Participate in the Pan-Hellenic Picnic
• Voter Registration Drive
