V.C. ANDREWS, an author whose seven horror-suspense books have sold 30 million copies, died of cancer Dec. 19 in her home in Virginia Beach, Va. Her age was not reported.

Her books were Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind, If There Be Thorns, Seeds of Yesterday, My Sweet Audrina, and Heaven. Dark Angels [sic], her seventh book, published in November by Pocket Books, reached No. 1 on The New York Times best-seller paperback fiction list, according to her publisher.
