In memory of our popular chess friend "Harold Moye"   also known in international chess tournaments as "skaldharaldr".   Harold was one of our most friendliest chess team mates. He enjoyed   playing in matches by email & servers for as long as his health allowed   and unfortunately, passed away March 4th, 2018. He will truly be missed   by many of our team mates .. plus strong opponents on a popular on-line   server site, where he posted this message for all to read.   Hello everyone, "Red Hot Pawn" looks like an excellent site!   I live in the eastern US ( Springfield, Massachusetts ) and have been   playing correspondence chess for many years. At one time I was a very   strong ICCF master, although lack of time and old age have reduced me   to an expert level player. I prefer opponents of my own strength and   enjoy playing anyone that is serious about the game .. but really don't   have any interest in playing computers. So, if you do use software to   to analyze your games in progress .. please look for another opponent.   I use my computer to analyze openings, book analysis plus games and   never analyze my active games until they are completed. I usually try   to respond as quickly as possible, but my age and some health problems   sometimes interfere with chess. I will never abandon a game. So .. if   I am silent for a period of time, it simply means I am having difficulty   with my health or trying to descend where my chess set & computer reside.   In summary, it is a real pleasure to meet each of you and I anxiously look   forward to our enjoyable chess encounters! Very best wishes, Harold |
