JIM POULOS (Huckleberry Finn) is happy to be making his debut with Casa Manana. Recently he finished a two-and-a-half year run as Mark Cohen in the hit musical Rent on Broadway. After completion of Rent, Jim played Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown at the East Carolina Summer Theatre. During his "down-time", Jim was married to his beautiful and talented fiancee, Lis. In the fall, Jim will be playing Vince in Convenience (music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin), one of ten musicals selected in this year's National Alliance of Musical Theatre Festival in New York City. Convenience will make its world premiere at the Geva Theater in Rochester, NY. In February 2001, Jim will again play Huck Finn in the new Broadway musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (directed by Scott Ellis, musically directed by Paul Gemignani). His other credits include Jack in Into the Woods, Baby John in West Side Story, Moth in Love's Labor's Lost (PCPA Theaterfest), Jean-Michele in La Cage Aux Folles (CLO of South Bay Cities), Al Joad in The Grapes of Wrath, Buddy in Holiday Memories (Sacramento Theatre Company), Young Woody in Woody Guthrie's American Song (Oregon Cabaret Theater), and Malcolm in Macbeth (Utah Shakespeare Festival).
