9. Mary Ann FOWLER

Apparently, Mary Fowler was married prior to marrying David G. Gaddy. His name was Monroe Thomas. She brought 2 children to the marriage, James and Joseph. According to the story, there were 2 twin boys who also belonged to her. They were half-brothers to Amos Alonza Gaddy, Sr. The story goes that while living in Alabama, these 2 twin boys were sent outside to fetch the donkey. When they went out, they found rustlers skinning one of the family cows. The rustlers shot both boys and left them to die. Carrie Bobbitt apparently owned the overalls that were worn by these 2 children when they were killed. She lived in California prior to her death. Her husband is/was Fred Bobbitt.
