She died Saturday, July 31, 1999 at the Crosbyton Hopsital. She was born November 1, 1907 in Afton, where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dempsey Sims, Jr., Afton; Billy Bud Sims, Harrow, Oklahoma; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
