Ms. Sims died Tuesday, September 29, 1998, at University Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1941, in Spur. She attended school in Patton Springs, and she was a Baptist. She was a resident of Travis State School in Austin from 1974 to 1993. She has been a resident of Lubbock State School since 1993.
Survivors include her mother, Bertrena Williams, Afton; one sister, DeLynn Williams, Manchester, New Hampshire; and two nephews, Mike Williams, Bedford, New Hampshire, and Steve Williams, Overland Park, Kansas.
