STOLEN HEADSTONES

SUZANNAH MCDONALD

Suzanah McDonald died in January of 1884 and was buried in North Huntingdon Township's Brush Creek Cemetery.

Tammy and Jack Taylor of Ardara know her name from the simple headstone used to mark her grave they recorded in 1996 when they helped clean up the run-down cemetery.

But in July, Tammy Taylor discovered that Suzanah McDonald's marker was missing.

"It's so upsetting because it has been there for so long," she said.
