NETXQRP October 2001 Meeting

The October 2001 meeting of the NETXQRP is in the books! The lack of turnout was made up for in enthusiasm! The meeting was attended by the usual suspects as you can see below. But the food was good and the fellowship better!

All told there were only 6 members present.

Here's most of the October group.

Chuck-W5USJ, Rich-N5JI, George-W5YR, Steve-N7TX, Bill-K5JHP with Don-K5DW behind the camera.
George is describing his Butternut vertical to new member Steve-N7TX. Steve is an Arizona transplant. He figured he already had the call sign, so why not move to the Lone Star State.

The door prize table looks pretty good this month!

Toroids, books, cases, bag-o-parts, among other things.
And everybody took home something that they DIDN'T bring!

New member Steve-N7TX checks out a QRP mini-transceiver.

The QRP transceiver is the innards of a toll-tag brought by Grand Pooh-Bah Chuck-W5USJ.

And that about wraps it up. We'd love to have you visit anytime you're in the area. The front page of our website, www.netxqrp.org always has the latest information on our meetings. Please stop by!

Hope to see everyone on November 17, 2001 for our next meeting!
