The door prize table for this month.
Old QSTs, enclosures, insulators, etc!
Neil-N5EIL brought a couple of mystery boxes.
After a a little look under the hoods George-W5YR and Dwain-K0LOA determined that
one was a power supply and the other was a parts source!
This months skull session and demonstration.
George-W5YR did a demonstration on the usefulness of current baluns. He built a jig that showed the current in each leg of a transmission line with and without baluns. It was very informative. Let's just say "Use baluns!" 'Nuff said!
Lew-N5ZE's portable trap vertical.

Lew brought his version of the PAC-12 trap vertical. It sets up quick and does a decent job for a small antenna.
For details on this antenna check out the New Jersey QRP Club web site.
Chuck-W5USJ brought his Rock Mite back.
He wanted to show off his modifications and prove that he was getting almost 1 watt out of it!
Well that's it for this month. We'd love to have you visit anytime you're in the area.
