NETXQRP July 2001 Meeting

The 11th monthly meeting of the NETXQRP is history. There was pretty good group to represent the club. We welcomed a new member, Jerry Green, K5IHK, from the Houston area. Jerry is a friend of Bill, K5JHP. A big welcome to Jerry!! We had a total of ten members present and had a great time as usual!

Here's a couple of QRP gems that showed up.

Somebody brought the neat litte DSW-40 rig and Dwain-K0LOA showed off his new power meter. It uses Steve (Melt-Solder) Weber's RMS digital power meter/dummy load board. Very nice Dwain!


Jerry gets initiated.

Being the new member, Jerry-K5IHK, was initiated into the club by being forced to give a little demo and talk about DFing! If that looks like sweat on his brow, it is. Not from nerves but the air conditioning wasn't working and we were all sweating in the 90+ degree room!
