<What is Trisomy 18? What is Trisomy 18? Trisomy 18, or Edward's Syndrome is a chromosomal abnormality. It means that there was an extra 18th Chromosome. What are the chances of Survival? I have been told that only 2% of babies with Trisomy 18 live through birth. If they do live, 90% of them die before the age of one.
