Arwen O'Shay was born in 2590 in Dublin. The youngest member of the
Full House team by a decade, her background file is a little
sketchy. It is known that her parents, Shaughnessey O'Shay and
Kathleen O'Conner were street acrobats and con artists who fell
together on a job and stayed that way. Arwen was raised as a part of
their act from the time that she could tumble. As a result of this
early training, and continued honing after her induction into US
training, her agility is almost superhuman.
She grew up streetwise. When she was ten, her parents moved on
during the night, leaving the sleeping child. Arwen didn't mind a
great deal—-Shaughnessey had apparently begun to look at her with
interest, and it was not to Kathleen's liking, resulting in beatings
for the young girl.
Arwen managed to survive very well on the streets. She made her
living as a con artist and thief until she was thirteen, and then
drifted into the vixen trade. Soon after this, she propositioned Ace
Kilcarney in the street, and the rest—-as they say—-is history.
Kilcarney convinced her to join his team, and she accepted. Arwen
had a great deal of trouble adjusting to the Full House lifestyle at
first, and it took the drastic step of Rita turning the girl over her
knee for Arwen to calm down enough to be teachable. Her quick mind
soon rose to the challenges set for her, and she became a good agent
in a short span of time.
Currently, she is functioning as partner to Jeremy Fentress. Her
cover as his mistress seems to come easily to her, and with her
background, this is not surprising.
Bottomline profile: Arwen is a superb athlete. Her agility is
incredible. She loves to win, and has been known to cheat to do so,
though she usually can't manage it with the team without getting
caught. She has grown to see the members of Full House as her
family and is intensely loyal. She looks up to Kevin Kilcarney with near
hero worship. She is intelligent and quick to learn, but her
greatest weakness is an almost uncontrollable temper. She has the
capacity to be a leader, but has never had cause to test the
potential.
