Fighting for freedom in the hot desert heat,
Working so many hours with very limited sleep.
Riding in hot heavy metal tanks on patrol,
Dealing with things that are beyond thier control.
Doing without what most can’t comprehend,
Living with the desert sand and sleeping in tents.
Eating MREs that tastes extremely bland,
Dodging bullets and protecting thier fellow man.
No running water for baths or showers,
No electricity during thier most darkest hours.
There’s not much to do for entertainment there,
They miss thier families that they hold so very dear.
There is a price for freedom that they so gladly pay,
Please keep them in prayer each and every day.
