Our Statement of Purpose
South Plains Day Home Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1994 to serve Lubbock and the surrounding counties. With many goals in mind, we began by aiming to provide support, assistance and training as well as promote a positive and professional image of the family child care provider. To encourage and promote quality child care as well as improve public perception we implemented several ideas: We wanted to increase communication by creating an atmosphere of fellowship and networking, provide support services and educational opportunities and represent the needs and concerns of the child care professional.
