In Arms

I am walking through this town
Confused and in a daze
My life seemed endless
And without a care
While running though this constant maze.

Life was the same
As it has always been
Boring and repetitive
Until you came in.

You came into my life
Smiling, and without a worry
I could see
Your love and affection
Seemed to seep deep within me.

My life began to change
In a way I could not believe
The raw emotions that you touched
And my heart
With which you retrieved.

Back from the dead
My heart came to
Right into your loving arms
And within your arms
I will be true.
