On The Beach

Was lying on the beach
Late one lonely evening
Watching the sun
Set slowly to the west.

Thoughts about us
And where our lives are going
Trying to make sense
And dreaming about the rest.

So where will these feelings
Finally take us
Will we find the meanings
Of the heart

Trying to find myself
And letting things just Happen
Seeing how
We can make a start.

I can tell
You are
For me
And now
Can clearly
See
That we
Are meant
To be.

So let’s run away together
Join hands and walk
By the sea

Because life with you
Would surely be so much
Better
But life without you
Would be the end of me

So take my hand
Now and forever
Try and see
What I can see
Let go of the past
And make your hearts endeavor
Make a new life here with me.
