Parting of us two

I finally did it
I am absolutely through
I reached my objective
And parted from you

We talked for a while
A lot of things came about
I made you laugh
To help your feelings out

You showed no feelings
Or shed any tears
But neither did I
You just sipped on your beer

Even your close friends berated you
For the things that you have done
They have seen it before
I guess this is how you have your fun

It became amusing after a while
Listening to your thoughts
When all along they were cover-ups
Of the things with which your friends I talked

You lied to me so much
Even tonight I caught you
You were not going home
You went to the same party
I was invited to, too

But I was told by your friends
What the reality really was
Hell he cared for me more
Than you ever did, he does

I am not as nieve
As people always portray
I see things clearly
Though it does not look that way

For these reasons I bid you farewell
Adieu, and Good day
I do not put up with people
Reckless with my heart
For this I part from you
On this cold winter day
