A Little Girl Dreams

By: Sue Stopka

A little girl dreams
A little girl dreams of sugar and spice
A little girl plays with dolls and tries to look nice
A little girl pretends as she walks in Mom's high heels
A little girl plays house
A little girl dreams of parties where the fun never ends
At the end of the day, I try to sleep
My Dad touches and sneers
He pretends not to know
It's me a little girl who dreams....
