I Have

I have heard
None but the victim knows
The pain, the fear and the heartache.

I know
Those that love the victim suffer
The degradation, and the sorrow also.

I have learned
To live life as a survivor
To love and grow again.

I can see
The end of suffering, and grief
I will survive, I won't allow evil to destroy.

I can feel
The love and joy
Those that truly love me share and give.
