A LONELY SOLDIER By: Stephanie Bennett I am just a lonely soldier fighting in a war. I look out every window and check behind every door. Searching for an enemy that I know is somewhere near, I know this for a fact because my heart is full of fear. I am just a lonely soldier, I walk among the dead. The faces that I see each night are swimming in my head. I am battling with a force that I just don't understand, that why I try to hide my soul deep within the sand. I am just a lonely soldier, trying to find some peace. I am tired of all this hiding its time to face the beast. To find a place, where I truly belong is what my heart desires.
