*WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Lt. Loco vs. Juventud Gurrera
Gurrera brings the belt with him, I guess he stole it on Thunder. Those stupid wcw angles, I tell you they suck. Anyhow both MIA & Filthy Animals have to leave ringside. Thats a shame, becuase Major Gunns & Tygress were looking real good. It doesn't get much heat though, which tells you they didn't selll out half of the Ocean Center. Atomic drop by Loco and a clothesline to the outside. Gurrera plays chicken outside. Gurrera is suplexed from the inside to the floor in a stif spot. Clothesline & tilt-a-whirl slam by Loco for a near fall. Flying headscissors & powerslam by Loco for a two count. Double clothesline takes both men down. Gurrera sent outside & Loco hits a plancha. Loco goes for the tornado ddt, reversed into an attempted juvi driver, which Loco reverses into a big reverse ddt for a near fall. A powerbomb is reversed into the Juvi driver, but Loco gets the ropes. Swinging ddt allows Loco to retain the title @12:08 **1/4 Pretty Good opener, but the ringside antics distracted from the match.
*The Cat is in his office talking with Jung Dragons. Jeff Jarret asks Cat where Hogan is.
*WCW Hardcore Championship: Big Vito vs. Norman Smiley & Ralphus
They work their way backstage, as the rules are they have to start backstage. What a concept. Trashcans, canes, & chairs all get used. Ralphus gets a trashcan lid punched in the face for looking like shit on a barbecue stick. Norman gets put into a elevator for his trouble, as this is a handicap match. Heck, Ralphus is handicapped. Vito gets Ralphus in the ring and splashes him through a table. Vito pins Ralphus just as Norman makes his way back @5:54 1/2* What a waste of ppv time.

*Wedding Gown Match: Ms Hancock vs. Dafney
Ms Hancock comes to the ring with Ric Flair's son. She has on a short, white wedding dres and some sexy stockings. I wont comment on Dafney, since it'll just get you out of the mood. Miss Hancock does a handspring elbow in the corner, but Dafney executes some snapmares. D. Flair interfers and loses his pants, as does the referee. HELP US! Crowbar interfers, gets undressed, and executes a front suplex on David. Ms Hancock takes off her dress to reveal her pantys and lose the amtch @4:15 DUD. After the match we have cake thrown at everyone. Thank god its over. Next time book Kimberly vs. Torrie Wilson in an Evening Gown Match.

As the referee is still down, Jeff Jarret comes down and hits Booker T with the guitar on the toprope. Is that called screwing a show or making it better? Kanyon hits the Kanyon cutter from the top rope and pins Booker T @10:05 **1/2 Pretty Good match, but could of been better.

Mike Awesome wins by disqualification @9:10 ** Pretty Good Match, spoiled by the terrible ending. The title is now vacant for the millionth time. Scott Steiner hits a nasty looking t-bone suplex as he leaves.
*Graveyard Match: Vampiro vs. Demon
The Demon absolutely sucks and putting the match in a graveyard makes sure its one of the worst matches in recent wcw history. Demon does the lovegun on Vampiro after he misses a jumo from a tree. they fight into the river. Are there really water in the graveyard? This looks like a low-budget movie and not wrestling. Vampiro puts Demon in a casket to win @6:10 DUD. Who booked this crap?

*"Franchise" Shane Douglas vs. Buff Bagwell
Dropkick by Bagwell sends Shane outside. They brawl outside. Douglas goes for a piledriver on the concrete, but Buff backbodydrops him. Swinging neckbreaker by Buff Bagwell back in the ring. They go outside and Shane punches a chair into the face of Buff. Shane, that has already been done tonight. Snapmare and a necksnap by Douglas. During this the fatass Mark Madden calls Buff a pretty boy redneck. Most renecks are not prettyboys Madden. To my suprise the beautiful Torrie Wilson comes down. Schoolboy by Buff for a near fall after Torrie slaps Shane. Crossbody by Bagwell for a two count. Splash by Bagwell for a near fall. Torrie kicks Buff in the groin to show she loves both men equally. Pittsburg plunge by Shane Douglas for a near fal, he can't execute the three rivers anymore since he's too old. Double arm ddt by Bagwell, but Douglas gets the ropes. The Franchise steals Danny Doring's move, the bareback, and pins him with it. I believe he now calls it the Franchise, but Doring doesn't even use that move as a finsiher. 7:53 *3/4. Not a great match by any means, but Shane Douglas has a new head cheerleader.

*Video package shown leading to this classic betwene Jeff Jarret & Hollywood Hogan.
*WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Jarret vs. Hollywood Hogan
Jeff Jarret music plays and 2 minutes later Russo comes out with JJ following. This tells you something is up, something is going down tonight. Jeff Jarret is very cautious, walking around the ring. When he finally gets in the ring he lays down immediately. Russo tells Hogan to pin him, holding the belt and saying you wanted it, take it. Russo leaves and Hogan says, "This is why the company is in the shape it is, like bull shit like this". Hogan puts his boot on Jarret and Jarret walks to the back, not taking one look at Hogan. 1:19 DUD. Is Hogan the WCW Champion or not? Would we find out later?

He says Hogan can have his belt, because there is a new wcw title belt and Jeff Jarret is still champ. He announces a Jeff Jarret/Booker T math tonight for the title. The promo was excellent, if it was a shoot or a work.
*Thr announcers tell us its what you call a shoot. Its interesting how the buisness has been revealed lately.
*Video Promo shown for the Nash/Goldberg feud
*Kevin Nash tells S. Steiner backstage to have his back

Superkick by Goldberg, but Nash hits a chokeslam for a two count. Scott "Steroid" Steiner comes to ringside. Sidewalk slam by Nash for a near fall. Goldberg misses a spear attmept. Nash goes for the jackknife, but Scott Steiner attacks him. Goldberg spears Nash & jackhammers Nash to pin him @5:28 *. For all the buildup as this as the main event match, this match sucked. Why do they have to turn guys every 2 weeks, but Steiner does play a better heel.

Axe kick and spinebuster by Booker T for a near fall. A ref bump and JJ misses with the swing of the title. Booker T hits Jarret with the title for a near fall. Jarret puts a chair in the corner, only to be thrown into it and schoolboyed for a two count. Jarret does the stroke on the referee, that made the least bit of sense to me. Jarret goes for the 187 guitar shot from the toprope, but Booker T catches him in the bookend. Booker T pins Jeff Jarret @13:38 ***1/4 NEW WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: BOOKER T
*OVERALL: One Hour 29 Minutes and 34 seconds of wrestling action is pretty good. There weren't any great matches, but the psycology in the work/shoot promo was great. Without that the show would have been missing something. If you erase the hardcore, wdding gown, & graveyard matches, this ppv would be a thumbs up. Other than that WCW did a great job, their last succuessfull ppv since Spring Stampede 1999. Thumbs in the middle.
