-Hardy Boyz & Lita vs. T & A & Trish Stratus
Albert & Matt start. Matt goes for twist of faith, but Albert throws him off. Lazy cover by Albert for 2. Matt tries the lucha libre/Essa Rios walking the ropes arm drag, but screws it up badly. Flying crossbody on the outside by Jeff "Suicide" Hardy. Tag to Matt and an inside cradle by Matt for 2 on Test. Bigtime boot to the face of Matt, not like a Kevin Nash version. Tag to Trish, oh baby, who accidently slaps Test and she is rolled up by Matt for 2. Don't tell me Matt didn't enjoy doing that. Trish misses an elbow and Lita is tagged in, only Trish tags Albert to spoil the fun. Jeff Hardy comes in and hits poetry in motion on Albert in the corner and a double team superplex. Triple team suplex by the faces on Test & Trish in a cool spot. Gorilla press slam by Albert sends Jeff Hardy outside and then Albert gets a near fall after a double arm suplex. Bigtime back bodydrop by Albert on Jeff for a two count. Tag to Test and a nice rollup by Jeff in the corner for two. Sleeper and then a powerbomb by Test. Test misses the big flying elbow and the hot tag to Jeff Hardy. Flying clothesline by Matt and a bulldog from up top. Matt reverses a powerbomb by Albert into a tornado ddt in an incredible counter. Tag to Lita, who hits a tornado dtt on Test a plancha on Albert on the outside. Hurricarranna by Lita on Test for 2 3/4. Gutwrench powerbomb by Test on Lita. Tag to Trish, who covers Lita for 2 3/4. Bulldog by Trish and a two count. Superplex by Lita on Trish for a near fall. -Backstage Edge tells Mick Foley Christian has food poisoning and Mick falls for it.

-The Undertaker arrives backstage on his bike and chases Kurt Angle. How do you go from spirtual dead man to Diesel III?

-Highlights show everyone Tazz has attacked.

-Tazz vs. Al Snow
Elbow by Snow and a Russian leg sweep. Tazz goes outside and back in the ring they exchange punches. Sidekick by Snow and a modified powerbomb for a near fall. Droptoehold and uppercuts by Tazz. Double underhook headbutts by Snow, but Tazz comes back with a Fisherman's Tazzplex. Tazzmission locked in and Snow gives it up. Did this get Tazz over? I don't think so. 5:20 *1/4

-Doctors come in and say Christian shouldn't defend the Tag Team Titles tonight

-Stephanie & Triple H are backstage. Steph gets flowers and the card says "It's True, It's True". OH NO!

-Mick Foley finds out Christian isn't really sick and they have to defend the titles. Who didn't think that would happen?

-Interview with The Undertaker "Diesel III". Angle is backstage riding the Undertaker's bike and is chased off by 'Taker.

-WWF Tag Team Championship: Edge & Christian vs. The Acolytes
This probably wont be great. The Champs do their usual mic work, saying how JFK would have committed suicide anyway in Dallas. Bradshaw defends the state of Texas in a nice promo aimed at the Champs. Top rope fallaway slam by bradshaw on Christian. Faarooq gets a two count on Edge. Tag to Bradshaw and double team shoulder breakers on Edge by The Acolytes. Bradshaws nails Edge with a powerbomb. Missle dropkick by Christian and he is tagged in. Another tag to Edge. Swinging neck breaker by Edge on Bradshaw. Flying shoulderblock by Bradshaw from the top onto Edge. -WWF New York is shown with Big Boss Man. Keep him there.

-Backstage Triple H is mad that Kurt Angle sent Stephanie flowers. You should of left Stephanie while you could and married Trish, Triple H.

-Steel Cage Match for WWF InterContinental Championship:
Val Venis vs. Rikishi
Val Venis tries to escape early and is thrown into the steel four straight times. Val almost makes it out of the cage, but is hit with a belly-back suplex by the Samoan. Rikishi is thrown into the steel twice. Later on Rikishi goes for the stink face, but Val Venis goes low on Rikishi. Bulldog from top by Venis. Big clothesline and two count for Val. Springboard elbow by Val Venis for another near fall. Val nearly climbs out of the cage. Both men are stradled on the top of the cage and then fall stradled onto the top rope. Val is now busted open, as Rikishi hits a Samoan drop and a splash in the corner. Bonzai drop by Rikishi in the corner. Rikshi goes for the exit throught the door, but Trish Stratus slams the door in his face. Neckbreaker by Val Venis and the Money Shot, but Rikishi kicks out at 2 3/4. Lita comes down and starts whipping Trish with a strap. A ref bump and Rikishi hits a monstorous "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka splash from atop the cage that nearly broke the ring. Rikishi tries to go through the door, but Tazz "The Path of Rage Continues" hits Rikishi with a camera. Val pins him right after that. Great way to make your IC Champion real credible. Great match though, since nothing was expected in this one. Both men have a hard time getting up and have to be carried out while we go to the next segment.

-HHH is looking for Angle and runs into Harvey Wippleman with flowers. He takes him to Angle's locker room and gets beat up by Jericho.

-Shane McMahon comes out. Suprises are always good on PPV. He calls out The Rock for a match. The Rock comes out and Benoit tears Rock's clothes bakcstage. Like The Rock can't afford new clothes.

-Video highlights of Angle/Undertaker feud are shown.

-Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker
'Taker attacks Angle from behind and they brawl into the crowd, opposite from where I'm sitting. 1-2 minutes later the bell rings. Elbow by the Undertaker, but he pulls Angle up while pinning him. Angle is thrown outside, where Angle hits his opponent with a wrench on the knee. Angle works on the knees. Undertaker finally gets out of leg grapevine and attempts a chokeslam, only to be low blowed by Angle and back heel tripped. Kurt Angle works on the knees again. Undertaker come sbakc with a chokeslam and the Last Ride for the 3 count. I don't understand the booking at all. Hopefully 'Taker wont be pushed to main event.

-Jericho/HHH feud video

-Last Man Standing: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho
This is going to be good. Clothesline and dropkick takes HHH outside. About this time two pieces of white trash are thrown out of the building for fighting out on the floor, taking most of the crowd attention away from the match. Springboard dropkick by Jericho. Reverse elbow by Jericho from the top, a new move in his arsenal. Knee to the face by HHH and a clothesline send Jericho outside. HHH works on the ribs of Jericho, which were hit with a sledge hammer on a recent Raw by HHH. Knees to the ribs by HHH. PSYCHOLOGY! Stephanie slaps Jericho on the outside. Pedigree nails Jericho. HHH does his best HBK imitation by laying across the top rope as Jericho gets up at 9 1/2. Chair to the ribs and back of Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho reverses a pedigree attempt with a low blow. Chair to the head of HHH. Big time blade job by HHH as he gets up at 8. Flying forearm by Jericho onto HHH's head. PSYCHOLOGY!, we don't see this much anymore. Missle dropkick by Y2J and a bulldog onto the chair. HHH is thrown outside. HHH goes for a pedigree on the steps but is backdropped by Jericho. Both men knock each other out with cameras. Both men get up at 9. Walls of Jericho on HHH, but Steph comes in and gets one of her own. HHH gets the sledge hammer, but misses Chris Jericho. Catapult by Jericho into the steel ring post. Jericho nails HHH with the sledge hammer. Jericho sets up HHH for a moonsautl through the announcer's table, but HHH gets up and hits a belly-back suplex through the table. HHH gets up at 9.999 to win the match. Awesome psychology, still don't understand the booking though. Great, classic match. You need to see this. Would be five stars but I didn't like the finish.

-Another video for Rock/Benoit

-WWF Championship: The Rock vs. Benoit
If you pause the tape when Benoit is coming around the left side of the ring during his entrance and see a canadian flag sign that would be me. Just thought you would like to know. In this match the title can change on a dq. Elbow by Rock and Benoit regroups outside. Rock chases Shano Mac. Inverted atomic drop and a catapult sems Benoit into Shane. Crossface on Benoit but the Canadian escapes. Gut buster by Benoit. Benoit dominates Rock outside but he is suplexed onto the ropes back in the ring. Belly-back suplex by Rock. Benoit later hits Rock with the title belt for a two count. Powerslam by Rock out of nowhere for a near fall. High belly-back suplex by Benoit and the sharpshooter by Benoit. Ring the Bell! Rock gets the ropes. Benoit is thrown into the steel steps outside. Corkscrew leg whip and figure four by the WWF Champion. Benoit gets the ropes. Outside Rock is clothesline by the best non-wrestler, Shane O Mac. Benoit and Rock fight in the crowd, again opposite from where I sit. Benoit suplexes Rock back in from the crowd. DDT by The Rock for a two count, but Benoit coems right back with a vicious clothesline. Backbeaker by Benoit for a two count. Neckbreaker by the Crippler for another near fall. Modified power bomb by The Rock, as Benoit lands face first on the ropes. Scoop and a slam and the flying headbutt by Chris Benoit, but The Rock kicks out. Spinebuster by The Rock and the People's elbow. Shane O Mac distracts the ref,so Rock only gets a two count. Superplex by Benoit for a near fall. Clothesline by Rock and then a short-arm clothesline. Shane hits the ref with a chair. The Rock puts Benoit in the crossface, as Benoit is tapping out to his own move. He's destroying Benoit's credibility. Ref calls for the bell for the apparent tap out @19:27 but actually the ref dq's The Rock. The fans start pelting the ring with beer which I'm hit with. New WWF Champion Chris Benoit. YES, the Wrestling god was spoken. No wait Mic Foley comes out and restarts the match. Rock is now busted open. Benoit hits the triple german suplexes, but Rock kicks out. Crossface on The Rock, but Rock gets the ropes. Rock bottom out of no where and Rock pins him at 2:39 of the restart. Great main event even if Benoit didn't win.

MY THOUGHTS: Great show. Two stellar canidates for match of the year. The cage match was actually good and nothing overly sucked, even Kurt Angle/Undertaker wasn't bad. My first ppv live and I went home happy.
Thumbs Up
