Puzzle Bubble:A game that has infected the gaming industry, this game, although a very good one, is starting to get on my nerves.
Its amazing how Puzzle Bubble (or Bust-a-Move in the U.S.-I think Taito did it to laugh at Americans, that's just me ^_^) in every possible console there is, even the Neo Geo!
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Puzzle Bubble (if that's even possible), its an addictive game, and your goal is to shoot colorful bubbles (surprise!) out of your bubble cannon (operated by none other than the amazing Bub and Bob) in order for them to meet other bubbles and "pop", clearing out the area of bubbles...sounds tricky huh? it is,you'll need good aiming and some brains to know what your gona do next,cause the ceiling is starting to fall... and you can screw yourself realy fast in the game if you act too fast.
so whats so special about the neo geo version? beats me, its still the good ol' puzzle bubble,addictive and fun as always, the graphics are great,nice tunes, and the controls are easy,but i get kinda bored after a while... you're better off with megical drop 3 if you ask me,but nevertheless this is very good too...
so onwards with the point giving
Graphics 7:your standard neo geo colorful graphics,nice animation and the usual puzzle bubble gang... backgrounds are nice too
Sound 5: its the same music over and over again,not bad ofcourse but only one tune! and the sound effects arent realy great either
control 9:aim,and press the button... hard huh? but its sometimes pisses me off when i miss by a bit,and the whole thing goes kaput
Replayability 9: thats where this game is great,its so fucking addictive... that is if you havent played it for the millionth time...gota love puzzle bubble :)
