Intense shooter that wants to be played:9

Anyone here besides me a hardcore shooter fan? This game is great for anyone who has an intense dislike for aquatic life, fish, or any sea creature. Like all Darius games, the enemy is a bunch of robotic fish in outer space with the infamous Zuntata soundtrack in the background.

Fish in space you ask? Well, it is too weird for me to explain. If you are looking to improve reflexes or eye-hand coordination, look no further. It requires EXTREMELY quick reflexes to dodge the endless sea of bullets, especially on the higher difficulties.

The graphics are pleasing, and for some reason, the music is soothing. Pretty weird for a game where you blow up things. There is little slowdown, even when bullets crowd the screen, and controls are smooth.

The best part of this game is using your "capture ball" to manipulate enemy ships as you please. Almost anything can be captured, and having a giant fish or a whale on your side is pretty cool.

The colors are eye-catching, not too bright, and just right. This game has tons of replay value, especially with a buddy or on a higher difficulty levels. Couple that with multiple paths in each stage and area to get multiple endings, and you have the shooter of the year in 98'. If you didn't get when it came out, it is pretty cheap now; get it if you like shooters at all or I will hang you personally.-Joel-
