First before we even begin this review lets get one thing straight. I am not a star wars freak(not really my cup of tea). I have never seen an entire movie so rest assured, this review is not biased in any way whatsoever. Now with that being said, this is THE BEST RPG FOR THE XBOX!!!!!! I am not pulling your leg or anything. The only other 2 games i think the average gamer may enjoy more are the halo games. Regardless as an XBOX owner you have slim pickings to begin with, just be thankful this awesome game is on this system.
Lets first illustrate what is so good about this game. In a word,story. The story is so massive and open-ended that you can have entirely new experiences each and every time you play through. There are so many option given at each conversation that will awe you, not because the conversation is so gripping, but the fact that you can literally piss off anyone at any given time. This game has given you that much control. Certain plot twists depend on your responses, as well as whether or not you are a noble jedi knight or a evil dark jedi. The choice is entirely up to you. This game succeeded in delivering the most open ended game I have played.
Not only is the story good, but the voice acting is fantastic, in fact the whole entire setting is done extremely well also. The music is there, but similar to Halo it is not the main focus. Instead the areas you explore are quiet and ambient until you are engaged in combat. Some may scoff at that, but I enjoyed it. The sound effects were very well done leaving me well satisfied in the sound department.
The thing that really adds points onto the game, however, is the replayability of this title. There are entire missions and subquests that are entirely optional to do. help some one or not. The choice is yours. Hell you can help someone and force them to pay you money if you want. The game will be unique each time you start a new game. There is also additional XBOX Live content.
The only real thing that holds this game back ,IMO, is the clunky battle system. Don't worry, its nothing terrible, it just could have been executed better. Instead it feels a bit like a button mashing affair. But like i said this is pretty minor as the battle system is passable.
As you can see the game has plenty of choices and replayability. plus it is very cheap, under $17 , but probably less on ebay or some similar online outlet. Either way get this title and enjoy everything it has to offer.
