I realize that many people consider this game a classic, but while it was the greatest game back then it has since taken a backseat to other games that were better. As with all NES games you must be careful as not to rate too high. This is the instance here. The game is not as fun as it was before but do not be mislead, it still provides a heck of a whole lot of fun.
The game is pretty much the same as all other Mario formulas. This is the first game that allowed Mario to fly. It was awesome the first time I saw it. There are eight worlds in this installment. There are cards at the end of each stage you can collect for extra lives. You can rack them up very easy, so don't let a death set you back and piss you off. I wish there was a save feature sice the game is pretty big, and since the old NES may stone whenever it wants.
The game was fun and sold well. Once you play it you will see why. The airships are fun as well as beating up the Koopa Kids. The different suits and items you use are vcry useful and fun to use and really adds an extra dimension to the game.
Everything seems to mold together and forma a wonderful game that is easy to find and cheap enough to own.Find it for under $5 and you will enjoy what this title has to offer.
