You see the game has horrific slowdown. First of all you only get to attack your enemy one time each encounter. When the battle is over you have to get near him again, a la Ogre battle, Which draws out the game itself vrey slowpaced. But thats not even the worst case of slowdown.
Aside from the fact that the attacks look like shit, The encounters themselves take way too long. The screen it switches to shows the 2 characters battling out. They move painfully slow when attacking. It often made me think that my Playstation was froze. Then if you fought a wizard and they used a fire spell, you would see a flame shoot across the screen in the same time it takes to download a dirty picture on a 28k modem. Thats not even the rest of the game.
I found out that if your main character reaches level 99 then the game crashes. I know what you are thinking. If I don't gain that much level with him/her then I won't even get close to level 99 right? Wrong, because as you will soon find out the main character gains about 6 levels in a single map! You will see your whole army die only to find out that you can beat all 20 enemies by yourself. Don't buy this game. $20 down the drain. Hell $20 in toothpaste would have been a much better buy than this POS. Paper weight anyone?
