Everything in the stage can be memorized if repeated enough.On the plus side the game is not easy. Since there are no unlimited continues that means you can't go blasting into every enemy or wall. So the bottom line is that the game is not too fun but if you like shooting games in a 3rd person view with a little challenge then by all means enjoy. The scenes and music are great but just did not do anything for me at all.
On another note, in case you didn't know you can put Playstation cd's in your cd player and listen to the music on the game. Just never play track 1 because of the data content on it. Could screw up your game. N2O has a great soundtrack And you might want to give a listen. The music is from Crystal Method. Last time I checked the game was 5 bucks at Funcoland. It might be worth it just to buy it as a music cd.
Anyway if you're intrested in the game and it's over 15 bucks I highly suggest renting first. Any less than 10 and you minus well buy it.
Here's what I think...
Gyruss fans rejoice! If you liked the way that game played, you will like this game also. This game is an ARCADE shooter, not a regular shooter, so get used to the style. The game is unorthodox in the way it plays (Gyruss on the NES) in the way that you are moving. Your ship is always on the edge of the screen, and movement is along the outer circle of the screen. It will take a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it it is pretty fun for a while.
It is great if you are bored with nothing to do or to play with a friend, plus it is under 10 bucks. An overall decent shooter. -Joel-
