Well well well. What do we have here? A game? A Skateboarding game? Oh no! I can't stand these "EXTREME" games. What? Did you say it was actually fun? Okay, I will give it a spin.Hmmm. This game is pretty good.
This is a skateboarding game. The moves are preformed similar to a snowboarding game. The best part however is that most of the characters are there . The problem is that you start with only one track. You have a lot of little objectives to do in each stage. Some easy and some hard. After each objective you recieve cash to buy access to a new stage and skills for your skater. The multiplayer mode has a lot of tracks however, and had more than 2 modes of play. It was fun to beat the living snot out of my friend, I won't say his name due to his lack of skills, his name is Tron but you did not hear that from me.There are a plethora of moves that you can do. Combos and specials give you more points. Some of the stages suck, like New York and skating heaven, but most of them are well done so they get a passing grade.
The graphics are nothing to gawk at but that hardly matters. The gameplay is good and the music rocks, literally. If you don't like heavy fast stuff with a mix of rap, then you might want to mute this stuff out.It does feature some good acts like Rage Against the Machine. The problem is that you may start to get tired of listening to the same songs over and over agin since the game is so addictive. The controls are good and responsive so you have noone to blame but yourself when you screw up.
The game is a solid title that any person should at least try before asting it away.Everything about it is pretty darn good, and you certainly will not be disappointed.
