This is my first review of a SNES game shit this is my first review of a game in a while but lets jump into it. THis is a review of the first game in a seris of four based off the the decently popular Yuu YUu Hakusho seris Yu Yu Hakusho 1 or yyh1 for short is alot like Yu Yu Hakusho Tokubeheten. There are some major diference though. While the unique fighing sysytem is still there. There is more of a story circled around this game up to the fight with Toguro and this is alot harder then Tokubehuten.
Sound and GFX
The music in this game is acually pretty decent even though it's not a musical masterpiece. As a matter of fact the battle music is the same all the way through the game but the final battle music is good and the cinema scene music is also pretty good not too bad but not too good either. But then if you think of it the sound effects are all mostly good in acurate when Yusuke does his Spirit or Reigan technique he yells it out, when Kuwubara does his techniques he yells like a girl which is funny as hell so now to think of it the sound is good. Alot of work as been put into how the characters sound so pretty good

Gameplay,Difficulty, and Control
This game place excellent for the system that is attached to it. Namco did a good job designing an innovative system. It is not like the SF2 that were around the time this game was made. This game is not a random button masher where you can expect to win by just luck and not knowing what to do. It's fun but first you must learn the ropes of the game. The control system is like this. The battles are carried out in psuedo real time the moves are carried out threough combinations of the direction on the D-pad and the buttons X Y B A. The moves are divided into 2 sections. Anything coupled with Up on the D-Pad is either jump or a defensive or charge up move. This varies by character but none of these moves are attacks some are healing. Anything coupled with Down on the D-Pad and the buttons X, Y, B, A are the signature attacks of the character. This 2 set of move take up power on the spirit bar. Power for the spirit bar is dealt through the battle. For intance there is a spere in the middle of the screen with 5 flames in it. Who wins that certin round will get that 5 flames to distribute to thier bars. It sounds complicated when I explain but when you see it carried out it's tight. The difficulty is at a nice high level on this also. I wouldn't say to the point where it is cheap though. You will have to do a alittle thinking to beat this game. Because some of the bosses are Str8 out annoying like Toguro Ani(the guy before the last boss) is hard as hell to beat. The password system is also simple so it cool. There is also a mode where you can battle either a second player or a computer one on one all you have to do is get the password if you beat the game and you will unlock all the characters. I could give you the password but you should gon just play through the game. But if you really want the password e-mail me and I'll give it to you. The game moves very very fast with almost no slowdown and the innovative system is so tight so this get a high ass score in this catagory.

Graphics and Animations
There is not alot to say in this area because most of it has already been said. The graphics in this game are flat out good. Most of it is in cinema, you know ninja gaiden style just upped to another level. SO all of it plays out nicely up to the tournament. The game basically plays like a cinema and the characters animate nicely for the system. So to make it short and simple A-1 graphics

Overall
I think most people that play this game will either like it or be somhow fascinated by it. If you like a fighting game with a story then I suggest you pick this one up or down load it. If you a nice simple fighting game with no story then I suggest you get Tokubehuten. But this is deep and all the characters will keep you coming back for more. Even though you may not want to play through the entire game over again so go check this out it is Tron Carter Recommmended.-Tron-
