We believe in training children's "ministers" - not just children's "workers" or even "teachers".
A regular 7-hour seminar (usually planned for a Saturday) includes the following topics:
The Challenge -
including the need for and vision of children's ministry
The Reality -
including understanding the challenges involved in ministering to children and also in developing a team of children's ministers
The Method -
including four key principles of any teaching or outreach for children
The Tools -
"hands-on" involvement while learning various teaching methods, including skits and games
The Potential -
open discussion of outreach ideas, special events and plans for different situations

A "Handbook" is provided for each participant and also a diploma at the end of the seminar.
We have taught seminars in East Texas and in various parts of Mexico including in and around Monterrey, N.L.; Saltillo and Palaú, Coahuila; Reynosa and Matamoros, Tamaulipas; Chihuahua, León, Cozumel and Mexico City. We also taught recently in Cuba, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile and plan to do so in other countries as the Lord leads.
We also have taught workshops in churches in both cities and rural areas to help start a children's ministry or to focus on special topics such as "How to have a successful VBS".
