"1......2....." Cocomon had Sora farther away from the bridge by now. "Farewell." Cocomon said coldly as he let Sora slip through his arms. "That's what you think!" Matt said. "Who are you?" Cocomon asked. "Later, you giant cocanut!" Matt retorted. Metalgarurumon, with Matt on his back, dove towards the falling girl. Metalgarurumon got under her, and Matt caught her. ::'Indiana Jones' music start's to play:: "My hero!" Sora said sarcastically. "Not yet Sweetheart!" Matt replied, as Cocomon shot at them with his coco acid. 'Sweetheart? Since when did he call me that?' Sora thought. Then she looked into his eyes and saw a kind of fire burning there. 'Too many Indiana Jones movies.' Sora thought. "Have a nice trip...." Weregarurumon said, ramming into cocomon. Cocomon fell over the side. "...see you next fall." Weregarurumon finished. Cocomon fell towards a hungrilly anticipating Gobblemon. "Don't look!" Matt whispered, pulling Sora's head into his shoulder. A huge crater seemed to form in Gobblemon. In reality, it was his mouth. "I'm too cute to diiiiiiiiiiiiiie!" Cocomon wailed, as he fell into Gobblemon's mouth. There was a swallowing sound, then a glass shatering belch. Metalgarurumon had to use all his strength to keep from being blown away. All this time, Sora's face was buried in Matt's shoulder. She was getting a strange sensation at the feeling of Matt's arms holding her. "Hey, you can look now." Matt said. Sora opened her eyes. They were on the bridge in the middle of the room. "Oh! Well...er..thanks a lot for the rescue!" Sora said kind of nervously as she practically flung herself to the ground. "Sora, are you okay?" Matt asked, a little sceptic. "Sure! Never felt better in my liiiii...."Sora trailed off as she suddenly collapsed to the floor. "Sora!" Matt yelled jumping off Metalgarurumon. "I'm fine. Just forgot how weak I am." Sora mumbled. "We got to find the others. Do you know where they are?" Matt asked, attempting to pick up Sora. "I-I don't know." Sora said, as Matt picked her up and placed her on Metalgarurumon. "That's okay. We'll just use my digivice!" Matt said, trying to lighten the mood. In reality, he was worried about Sora's sudden weak spell, and what could have caused it.
"Ladies and Gentlemon! The moment you've been waiting for! The soccer MVP player of the millineum is.......Tai Kamiya!" "I won! I won!" "Tai, not only do you win the most prized award in the universe, you also get to go on an all expenses paid date with Sora Takenouchi!" "Yeeeehoo!"

"We're broadcasting live in front of little T.K.'s house, because he's this year's winner in our annual Ice Cream King Contest! He will be crowned Ice Cream King in the parade next week, along with free ice cream for the rest of his life!" "Hello, may I help you?" "T.K., you've just won our annual Ice Cream King Contest! "We are here live, at Kari Kamiya's orphanage. Kari Kamiya has helped over 500 hundred children in our district to attend school and live a normal life. Oh, here she is now! Kari, what is your plan for the future?" "Well, I hope to expand this organization, build a nice retirement home for the elderly, and finally, strive for world peace." "Wow! Sounds like your a busy little girl!" "I just want to do my share in life." "No doubt, you have Kari Kamiya!"
"Those pathetic fools! They're having their fantasies come true through their dreams, thanks to my high-tech machine. Too bad those dreams will turn to nightmares, as they find out they've been outwitted! But, might as well let them enjoy it, for it will be their last dreams." Viromon sneared as he watched the sleeping humans from his control deck. He had a small video camera in each cage, so he could moniter them better. "Clone! I bid you to come!" Viromon suddenly yelled. From the shadows emerged a girl very much like Sora, except for the fact that her eyes were black, and held an icy cold non-feeling look. "Yes my master?" The clone said in a mock sweet voice. "No doubt, the other child has saved the girl by now. You should make ready for their arrival." Viromon said. "How do you know this?" The clone asked. "I know all. I see all. That include's you, my pretty. So do not fail me!" Viromon said. Sora semi-bowed, and left. "The pawns are in position. The knights are poised to strike. The rooks are prepared to fight. And I, the king, stand to gain all." Viromon said aloud as he watched a moniter that showed Matt, Sora, and Metalgarurumon walking down a hall.
"They should be in this room." Matt whispered. They were all lined up against the wall. Matt peeked around the doorway. He saw seven cages dangling from the ceiling on one side, and seven cages dangling on the other side. "Okay! They got the digimon on one side and the humans on the other." Matt told Sora and Metalgarurumon. "Shall we bust in there and kick some serious digi-butt?" Metalgarurumon asked. "Let's try this one differently." Sora said. They formed a huddle, and worked out their plan.
"Man! This job is boring!" Commented a guard Cocomon to another guard Cocomon. "Yeah! All we do is watch these brats. While they sleep in peace! We should really consider asking for a raise." The other Cocomon replied. "Hey! Do you know what the boss is planning on doing with that coco acid he took out of us?" The first Cocomon asked. "I overheard him saying he was going to use it to transport someone. Strange, though. Coco acid is harmful enough with just one shot. But transporting somebody in it? That's just plain execution!" The second Cocomon said. "Well, no skin off my shell!" The first Cocomon said. "That's what you think! Metal Wolf Claw!" Metalgarurumon shot out from behind his hiding place, and cremated the two Cocomon. "That was easy enough!" Matt yelled, coming out of his hiding place, Sora right behind him. Sora suddenly felt dizzy. She couldn't see straight, think straight, walk straight! Everything was a blur. Then, as to put her mind at peace, she blacked out. Matt heard a thump on the floor, and turned around to discover Sora crumpled into a heap on the floor. "Sora!" Matt exclaimed. He ran back to her. He didn't know what to do! He was only a kid! What did he know about these things? He couldn't even touch her! The grief was so intense. Yet all he could manage, was a horror stricken face. No tears. No emotion. That's how it had always been for Matt. He turned around, real fire in his eyes.
"The pawns turn is up! Now for the knight's round." Viromon cackled, as he watched from overhead.
Matt and Metalgarurumon stood puzzled in the middle of the room. The immediate shock of Sora collapsing was too much for them. Metalgarurumon finally regained his stature. "Matt! Let's get the rest of our friends and get out of here!" He managed to yell. Matt machanically started looking for a switch that would allow the cages to open. "Looking for this?" Viromon said to himself. He pushed a button. The cages started lowering. Metalgarurumon dedigivolved into Tsunomon. "Wh-What happened? I didn't do anything!" Matt uttered in total shock. The cages stopped about two inches above the ground. The doors swung open. Matt ran up to the nearest cage, Joe's. "Joe! Wake up! We got to get out of here!" Matt yelled, shaking Joe all the while. A slight trickle of drool was forming in the corner of Joe's mouth. "Best student......in...class." Joe trailed off. Tsunomon, meanwhile, was having the same luck with the digimon on the other end. "Gomamon! Wake up!" Tsunomon tried desperately. He would have shaken him, but he didn't have arms. Matt tried waking the other kids, and Tsunomon tried waking the other digimon. They hadn't notices the small devices on their forehead. Well, you wouldn't either if they're only the size of a gnat, easily mistaken for a mole or something. "Well, the knights can't fight if they're not awake!" Viromon once again said to himself. (You notice bad guys do that alot) Viromon pressed another button. The small devices suddenly lost all their power, and fell harmlessly to the floor. Everyone started waking up. All but Sora, that is. "(Yawn)What a nice dream I was having." Joe yawned. "The pagent? The prize money? The crown? It was all a dream? Oh, I cannot bear to live with myself! Woe is me!" Mimi squealed. "Calm down, Mimi! Your over-excessiveness to your dreams could cause mental and physical corruption to take place!" Izzy said. Mimi stared at him. "It was all a dream!" Mimi continued crying after about 10 seconds of clueless staring at Izzy. Izzy rolled his eyes. "Where's Sora?" Tai immediatly asked. Matt's eyes dropped. How could he show so little emotion? Matt looked away. Wait a minute! Not away, towards. He placed his eyes on the crumpled form of Sora. That's all he could do. Look on. "No." Tai said in a whisper. He ran over to Sora, and kneeled over her. "Poor guy." Mimi whispered to Joe, "Everyone knows they were meant for each other." If Matt's heart wasn't low enough, it dropped another fifty feet. Meant for each other? The words whirled around in his head. Was Mimi right? Was Matt totaly out of any picture she had in mind for Sora? Matt was so engrossed in these thoughts, he didn't hear Joe's response. The digimon went over to their partners, except Agumon and Biyomon. "You think that she's....." Biyomon trailed off. "Don't think things like that." Tsunomon comforted. Joe went over and placed his hand on Sora's neck. He nodded his head to Tai. She was alive. Just then, a buzzing noise, like the opening of an electronic door, was heard. The kids looked behind them, and saw a huge door slowly open. Inside was the most disgusting, unpleasant, smelly thing the kids had ever seen. It was Gobblemon. "That guy has a serious hygene problem!" Mimi said, holding her nose. Tai's attention was averted from Sora. He and Joe slowly got up, and calmly walked over to the other kids. "Gobblemon hungry!" Gobblemon bellowed. "Then why don't you have a knuckle sandwich!" Agumon yelled. "Yeah!" All the digimon yelled. "Tsunomon digivolve to.....Gabumon!" "Gomamon digivolve to.....Ikkakumon!" "Ikkakumon digivolve to.....Zudomon!" Zudomon moved into battle position. "Let us battle!" Agumon said to Tai. Matt saw a bit of irritation in Tai's eyes. "We'll save you two for later." Matt told Gabumon and Agumon. Gobblemon crawled out into the room. "Vulcan's Hammer!" Zudomon roared. The flash of lightning went straight through Gobblemon. "Yeah! We won!" Joe cheered. The hole in Gobblemon's body soon filled with sludge, and Gobblemon looked as if nothing had happened. "Didn't we?" Joe finished. "Guys! Listen to this! Gobblemon doesn't have a classification! Nor does he have an attack! And all the description says is that it eats alot!" Izzy yelled. "How can he not have a classification?" Tai asked no one inparticular. "Maybe because he's both good and evil." Joe figured, looking at Gobblemon. "What? Don't confuse me!" Mimi hollered. "Well, look at him! All he wants is something to eat! That's not a crime! But he kills so unmercifully, it's considered evil. As you saw, he probably doesn't need an attack, because his body just regenerates or something! It's like he was the last digimon made, and just got what was left over. That's how I feel sometimes." Joe said a little sorrowfully, looking at his feet. Everyone looked at him a little strangely. "What?" He irritably asked, looking up. Joe hated getting too much attention from people. His crest started glowing. A white beam of light shot out from his crest and circled Gobblemon. "What's happening?" Gobblemon asked. As the white stream of light repeatedly circled Gobblemon, his sludgy form was being molded into a shape. "I believe that somehow Joe's crest is shaping Gobblemon into an entirely different form." Izzy yelled. Just as soon as the beam of light appeared, it disappeared. Where a pile of ooze once "stood", there was now a distinguishable creature. The sludge had hardened, giving the creature a solid form. It looked like a rhino standing on it's two back legs. It had a metal plate running from just above it's eyes, between the ears, down the back, and made up the top part of it's lizard-like tail. "You understood me." The creature said. "Huh?" Everyone asked at once. "That boy," The creature pointed to Joe, "He understood why I do the things I do. That's how I transformed." Zudomon by this time, had dedigivolved into Gomamon. "Are you still Gobblemon?" Mimi asked. "Yes, but now I'm complete! I'm not a freak anymore! Oh thank you, thank you! If there's anything I can ever do for you, just name it!" Gobblemon cheered. "Why don't we all go home, and call it a day." Joe said, smiling sheepishly and rubbing his neck. Without a word more, Gobblemon took off out the door.
"My knight was captured. I must play my last piece, the rook!" Viromon said to himself.
"Wow! Great going, Joe!" Tai cheered happily. Everyone was celebrating, except Matt. He had something else on his mind. He felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around, and standing there was Sora! "Sora? I don't believe it! I thought you collapsed or something!" Matt said all at once. Sora put her finger up to his lips to shush him. She then pulled close for a kiss. Even though Matt had always been chased by girls, he had never kissed one. This experience was all too new to him. He almost lost himself in pleasure. But something didn't feel right. Here he was, kissing the girl of his dreams, and something didn't feel right. Matt somehow managed to pull away. "What was that for?" He asked. Sora got a sly smile, even for her, and answered, "I want you Matt. I want you all for myself." Matt was plain uncomfortable right now. Sora stepped closer, and slowly lifted Matt's shirt up halfway. "Ahem!" Matt said nervously as he pushed his shirt back down over his body. "What? Don't you like it?" Sora giggled. She started moving her hands up and down Matt, trying to get something off. But Matt was able to keep his clothes on and attempted to walk away. "Sora, what are you doing?" Matt asked nervously. "Oh come on, Matt? Don't you wanna have some fun?" Sora said, starting to tickle him. "No,ha ha ha, I don't, ha ha ha, want to have some fun!" Matt said inbetween outbursts of laughter. He was trying to sound serious. Sora kept tickling. Now Matt was just plain annoying. Matt grabbed Sora's wrists in mid flight, and told her in a stern voice, "WILL YOU CUT IT OUT!" Now everyone heard them. Tai rushed over. "Matt! Let go of her!" Tai yelled, punching Matt across the face. Matt went sprawling to the floor because of the sudden shock. "Did he hurt you?" Tai asked Sora tenderly. "No, thanks to you." Sora said, getting close to Tai. "Well I....j-just..." Tai was blushing like crazy. Sora went up to Tai and kissed him. Matt was just picking himself off the floor, when he saw Tai and Sora kissing. 'That isn't Sora!' He thought. Matt looked around the room, but he didn't see any other Sora there. 'No! It can't be! Sora doesn't act like that!' Matt decided. "Tai! No!" Matt shouted. He ran over to the two, and grabbed Sora by the shirt collar. "What have you done to the real Sora? Tell me!" Matt shouted. "Matt! Stop this now!" Joe yelled. "Not until she tells us where the real Sora is!" Matt shot back. "Tai. Help me." Sora pleaded. "ARGH!" Tai roared, as he hit a devastating blow to the side of Matt's head. Matt was smashed up against a piece of machinery. "Oh Tai! He must be jealous because I love you and not him." Sora said. "It'll be okay. Watch me shred this guy to pieces." Tai responded. Biyomon walked up to Sora. "Sora. Maybe you shouldn't encourage Tai to fight Matt." Biyomon said. Sora looked down at the bird. "Biyomon, don't you have something to do?" Sora asked, clearly annoyed. Biyomon put her head down, and didn't speak anymore. "Tai! Don't you see what she's doing? She's trying to make us fight each other! She's not the real Sora!" Matt pleaded holding his head which had a big gash on the side of it. "Shut up! You're just jealous because she loves me, not you!" Tai yelled. "Yeah, that's why she was trying to rip my clothes off!" Matt retorted. Tai froze. He looked back at Sora. "He's lying! He tried to rip MY clothes off!" Sora said. Tai turned back to Matt. "You monster!" Was all Tai could say. Gabumon suddenly ran in front of Matt. "Tai, so help me, if you take another step, I'll be forced to attack!" Gabumon said. "What's that suppose to mean?" Agumon asked, coming up to Gabumon. "All I'm saying is that I have to protect Matt. And if that meens throwing a few blue blasters at Tai, I'd do it." Gabumon replied. "Well I got to protect Tai too you know! So if you so much as look at him the wrong way, I'll kick your furry behind!" Agumon replied angrily. "I'd like to see you try, you Barney wannabe!" Gabumon shot back. "I'll take you right here, right now Gabumon!" Agumon yelled in his face. "Gabumon digivolve to....Garurumon!" "Agumon digivolve to....Greymon!" "Come on, Fatty! Let's see what you got!" Garurumon yelled. "Who are you calling fat? Nova Blast!" Greymon replied. Garurumon easily dodged the attack. "My turn." Tai said, glaring at Matt. "If this is the only way to get you to listen, I'll gladly beat the living daylights out of you!" Matt yelled back. Tai lunged at Matt. Matt jumped out of the way, sending Tai smashing into the machinery behind him. Tai fell to the ground. Biyomon looked at Sora. Sora had an evil smile on her face. She was enjoying this! "You're not Sora!" Biyomon yelled. Everyone was quiet, except for the two fighting digimon, who kept fighting. "No kidding, Genius!" The fake Sora said. Sora's eyes turned black. Tai had seen the whole thing. He weakly got up, with the help of Matt. "Greymon! Attack the fake!" Tai yelled. Greymon looked as if he hadn't heard anything Tai had said at all. "Garurumon! Stop!" Matt yelled desperately. The blue wolf kept fighting. "I don't get it?" Tai said, scratching his head. "You fools! It's no longer just you're fight! They're doing this of their own will! And it's all because of you two!" The clone said, pointing to Tai and Matt. "What do we do?" Tai asked Matt in a whisper. "Tentomon digivolve to.....Kabutarimon!" "Palmon digivolve to.....Togemon!" "I'm sorry to have to do this but, Electro Shocker!" Kabuterimon aimed at Garurumon. The attatck hit Garurumon, and he dedigivolved into Gabumon. "Settle down Greymon! Needle Spray!" Togemon yelled. Needles peirced Greymon's skin, and he dedigivolved into Agumon. "My head." Gabumon said, getting up. "Well at least I wasn't the first to dedigivove." Agumon stated. "At least I wasn't taken to ground by a cactus!" Gabumon shot back. "That's enough you two! We got bigger problems!" Matt shouted as he ran to Gabumon. Tai ran to Agumon. "That Sora's not Sora. Well she is Sora, but not the real Sora." Tai tried to explain. "She's a fake!" Matt cut in. "Yeah! You think you guys could warp digivolve?" Tai asked. "You bet!" They both responded. "Agumon warp digivolve to......Wargreymon!" "Gabumon warp digivolve to......Metalgarurumon!" "Alright! Go Metalgarurumon!" T.K. cheered. "You can do it Wargreymon!" Kari added. "I wouldn't attack if I were you!" A voice said from everywhere at once. "Who's there?" Izzy asked. The voice didn't answer. There was an eerie silence. Then, there came a sound of heavy footsteps. Out of the shadows, came a huge robot looking droid. "Hello digidoomed!" The robot said. But it wasn't really the robot. Viromon was in it's cockpit, talking to the digidestined through a speaker phone. "What is that?" Joe shouted, fully panicked by now. "Your worst nightmare!" The clone said evily. "No problem! We can take this metal hunk of junk!" Tai said. An elevator like door opened on the robots foot. Viromon stepped out. "Who's he?" Matt questioned. "I am Viromon, director of cyborg relations. As you can see, this cyborg is angry." Viromon said. "Enough talk! Let's fight!" Tai yelled at Viromon. "Very well. But I'd like to point out just one small detail. You can't win." Viromon said. "If I got a dollar for everytime someone has told us that, I'd be rich." Matt sarcastically said. "Funny. Now to explain why you can't win. You see, attached to my clone over there is a small device that connects her to the central programming of this robot. In other words, she controls it with her brain. Your real friend," A moniter floated towards the kids. Sora's head appeared on the screen, with several wires and such connected to her head. "is linked to my clone, because she practically is my clone! Just in a separate body. So any damage you do to my clone, is in fact, only hurting your friend. And since my clone is connected to my robot, any damage you do to the robot, affects my clone, affecting your friend. So you see, you can't win!" Viromon told them, grinning evily. The moniter in front of the kids floated away. "Guys! Do you know what this means?" Izzy asked, "We can't do anything to that robot or else we end up killing Sora!" "But we can't just give up!" Tai argued. "We have no other choice." Izzy hung his head. Viromon let out an enourmous laugh, that chilled everyone down to their souls. "What do we do?" Metalgarurumon asked Wargreymon. "The only thing we can do, hope for a miracle." Wargreymon said, taking up his defensive stance. Metalgarurumon did the same. The robot started moving towards them.
What will the digidestines do? Where is Sora? What does Viromon plan to do with all that coco acid? Why did I name this the Love Digi-Bug, when there really isn't that
