He was also a homosexual.
He met Lord Alfred Douglas (with Wilde, below) in 1891.
They soon became inseperable lovers.
Lord Alfred Douglas was more commonly known as "Bosie."
Wilde was arrested on charges of sodomy by Bosie's father.
After his release, he briefly returned to Bosie (above), but he spent his last two years alone, traveling throughout Europe.
