John Swor, son of Albert Gallatin and Susan Martha (Boyd) Swor. The Swor brothers starred together in "The Wizard of Oz" in 1903, but Bert Swor - whose father before him was a Tennessee minstrel - literally grew up in theaters. He saw his first show in Lebannon, Tenn., staged by his father. John Swor played in a movie called: CHARLIE CHAN CARRIES ON Fox (1931) 76 minutes. Charlie Chan was played by -Warner Oland and John Swor played Elmer Benbow In the movie "Up the River (1930) John Swor acted with Spencer Tracy. Spencer Tracy had the lead role as Saint Louis and John Swor played Clem. In the movie "Quick Millions (1931) John Swor again acted with Spencer Tracy. Spencer Tracy had the lead role of Daniel J. 'Bugs' Raymond and John Swor played the contractor. Here Comes the Navy (1934) (uncredited) .... Carousel Attendant. John Swor was also a part of the duo called "Two Black Crows". The Two Black Crows was a blackface comedy act popular in the 1920s and 30s. The duo appeared in vaudeville, on Broadway, on radio, comedy records and in film features and shorts.
