Eros and Aphrodite

Typhon was the youngest son of Gaia, and a Giant. He was the most monstrous of the Giants. He had a hundred dragon heads with the his body covered in serpents. Flames came from his mouth and he was taller than the tallest mountain.

Typhon was born after Zeus defeated the Titans and became ruler of the heavens. Myth tells us that one day Typhon attacked Zeus and imprisoned him in a cave guarded by a dragon. Eventually Hermes and Pan rescued Zeus. When Typhon shrieked and yelled in anger, all the gods assumed different shapes as they fled his attack on Mt. Olympus. Zeus took the form of a ram, Apollo a crow, Hera a cow, and Aphrodite and Eros were fishes. The constallation Pisces was placed in the sky to commerate the escape of Aphrodite and Eros from Typhon and is protected by Posiedon.
