| PRINCIPLES OF ARA OF TEXAS |

WE GO WHERE THEY GO Whenever fascists are organizing or active in public, we're there. We don't believe in ignoring them or staying away from them. Never let the Nazis or the Klan have the streets. WE DON'T RELY ON THE COPS OR THE COURTS This doesn't mean we don't ever go to court. But we must rely on ourselves to protect ourselves and to stop the fascists and racists. If we cannot help in some way we fail. NON-SECATARIAN DEFENSE OF OTHER ANTI-FASCISTS In ARA-Net, we have lots of groups and individuals. We don't agree about everything, and we have a right to differ openly. But in this movement an attack on one is an attack on us all. We stand behind each other. WE ARE AGAINST ANY DISCRIMINATION ARA of Texas intends to do the hard word necessary to build a strong, broad movement against racism, sexism, anti-semitism, homophobia, discrimination against the disabled, the oldest, the youngest, and the weakest of our people. We are the youth for the youth. The ARA supports women's rights including the right to choose. WE INTEND TO WIN. |
