  The reason why spring time in Texas is my favorite time of year...bluebonnets!   Taken in Lacy Lakeview at the very beginning of bluebonnet season  A kinda cool shot of bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes together  A slope of bluebonnets and paintbrushes...but for some reason, none of the pics came out with anywhere near as much color as there was in real life  Bluebonnets and barbed wire fences...nothing says Texas better (well, if there'd been a Longhorn in the pic, that would've *grin*)  Another interesting shot (basically, I set my camera almost on the ground for that one...)  Another not very good pic that doesn't show the colors very well  Another view of the slope...if you look at the grass real closely, you can see that it was REALLY windy that day  I really wish these had come out better  A decent pic of some bluebonnets  I kinda sorta like this one...  Sorry, I had to get a picture of the cacti...it's a Texas thing *grin*  A close-up of one of the cacti
