Click on the top or middle picture on any of Morgan's pages to visit another page! My sister was kinda grumpy that she had to type in the entire address until I told her about rolling her cursor over each picture so that the address appears at the bottom of the screen. I don't know if any of you knew that either... |
Jesse was sad when he got home. Morgan doesn't have her chubby cheeks anymore! She's not a chubby baby at all. I can hardly wait until her next doctor's appointment to find out how much she's grown. Maybe she'll have teeth by then. It's still so odd seeing toothless gums. What say you? |

Well, Morgan's now five months old. Time does fly, doesn't it?June was an interesting month for us all. There was so much that Morgan learned to do! She's started laughing more regularly, rolls over both ways, and blows raspberries! She's also gained a healthy appetite. She's a growing baby, not that you can readily tell from the pictures. So, we've had her on Baby food for awhile now. She prefers Heinz over Gerber's, go figure! I plan on starting her on Level Two foods in a couple of weeks. They have some really good combinations. I barely knew where to start when I looked at them the other day! With Turkey Veggie Dinner, Ham Veggie Dinner, Mac & Cheese Dinner, and all the different fruit & veggie combos to choose from, you can understand my befuddlement! |

As you can tell, I've been playing with the B&W and Antique features. Some of these pictures just DEMANDED it be done. I hope everyone is enjoying this batch.Morgan is still the happy-go-lucky baby she always is. People love stopping and smiling at her, playing with her. Oddly enough, I was told something rather odd the day before it happened. I was informed that some Hispanic cultures, particularly here, were afraid of the evil eye. Apparently, if a baby under the age of two makes eye contact with an adult OR wears red, they are able to catch the evil eye. Ill luck will follow them and their families unless a ward of protection is made over their foreheads. This is the reason why most children wear the traditional blue and pink outfits, sometimes yellow and green, until they are older. I don't know if this applies in other Hispanic cultures, though.Like I said, I was told about this and the next day, a lady made the ward of protection over Morgan's forehead after playing with her. Yeah, Morgan was wearing red and she gives everyone direct eye contact. She's done that since she was three months old.Weird, huh? |

I've been on a new website lately called MilitaryMoms. It's full of God-fearing women, mothers, grandmothers, wives, etc. Usually around 830 PM CT, everyone goes in the chatroom to pray. Check it out if you have time.www.militarymoms.net |
Morgan's is and always will be, I think, an attention hound. She loves getting attention from everyone around her. We're trying to get her used to playing by herself for a little while, but I guess it will come in time. Oh, well. |
