Too Dark Park - 1990
This is true art! Abstract, agressive, and maybe a bit confusing, this cd strolls down the line between noise and music, and does it quite beautifully. "to dark park" is not for the unsuspecting listener, or someone wanting to get into industrial, when you first put on this album you may think "what the hell is this" or "this is music?" but as you listen again and again you become hooked and realize why this is music, you begin to hear the structure, the patterns, and the occassional melody. But I don't want to make skinny puppy out as noise act like Dissecting Table, there are the standard 4/4 industrial beats that emerge here and there and there are some resemblences to their earlier work(which I would recommend to the non-rivethead), but this is totally un-commercial art. Strange, confusing lyrics, odd sound effects, and aggressive sound make this cd a definite must for any SP fan. But beware the casual lister.
